Bachelor of Indigenous Health

The Bachelor of Indigenous Health consists of 72 units of study to be completed normally within three years of full-time study or six years of part-time study. The 48 units of study completed to fulfil the requirements of the Advanced Diploma may be credited towards the degree, but in this case the student must surrender the Advanced Diploma before the degree will be awarded. Candidates who possess a relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma award from other educational institutions and with at least five years experience in health related activities may enrol directly at Bachelor level and may be credited with up to a maximum of 24 units at the discretion of the Head of the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Students will have the opportunity to undertake elective subjects in the second and third years of the program.
