Schedule 2 Child Care
This award provides the qualifications required by the Queensland Department of Families, Youth and Community Care for the position of Director of a Child Care Centre.
An Associate Diploma of Child Care and child care industry experience are entry requirements to this program. Credit of one year for these requirements is given to each student, leaving the equivalent of two years of full-time study for the degree.

Schedule 3 Community Support
The Bachelor of Educational Services (Community Support) aims to enable people who are disabled as a result of motor accidents to undertake degree studies to help these people to re-enter the workforce with high level capabilities. It is intended that students from this course should graduate with a generalist degree that gives them the ability to work as an educator (e.g. disability guidance, community awareness); a liaison or government officer (e.g. disability secretariat, EEO officer) or a small group manager (e.g. government community development officer, community action group coordinator). Students may also extend their skills with further computer studies and take on a computing career (including multimedia), or transfer to another university course and claim credit for completed study.
This is a special entry course. Applicants should consult the Head of the School of Education. The course is comprised of a minimum of 72 units and shall include:
