Prerequisites: WS2011 or WS2019

26 lectures, 24 tutorials or the equivalent in mixed mode on-campus delivery. Second semester. Also offered at Mackay campus.

Subject builds on foundation knowledge and skills development considered in WS2011.

Learning Objectives:

  1. increased awareness of social welfare practices, from a social justice perspective;
  2. familiarity with the application of social welfare practice theories in community and organisational settings.

Assessment by presentations and/or written assessments: organisational practice (50%); community practice (50%).
