Available to students who have completed FR1001/FR3002 or FR1121/FR3122 and eight additional units at level 2 and 12 additional units at level 3 of approved Modern Languages subjects, provided they have substantial achievement in all the above level 3 subjects.

Preparation of a mémoire of 15,000 words on a topic to be approved and by a date to be specified by the Head of School.
Learning Objectives:
- the methodology of thesis writing and presentation;
- an in-depth study of a particular topic.
Assessment by completed mémoire (75%); oral defence (25%).
