Diploma of Science

The objective of the Diploma of Science is to offer students the opportunity to achieve a recognised award which meets the minimum formal requirement to teach Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in Queensland secondary schools. The Diploma of Science is based on the registration requirement of eight level 2 units. Students should choose 24 units from any one of the following strands.

Mathematics Major Strand

Physics Major Strand

PH1005:03 Introductory Physics (Sem 1)
PH1007:03 Fundamental Physics (Sem 2)

level 2

PH2019:03 Introduction to Electromagnetism Optics and Thermodynamics (Sem 1)

Chemistry Major Strand
