A number of intensive workshops and consultation sessions during the semester. No regular weekly classes. Second semester.

This subject continues with the revision and with the study of a Japanese TV drama commenced in JA1111. Topics for revision will include asking permission and expressing prohibition, discussing capabilities, obligations and future intentions, asking directions in the street, discussing comparisons, describing past experiences and acts of giving and receiving and explaining reasons. An additional 50 of the most frequently used Kanji characters will also be introduced in this subject.
Assessment by oral/aural and written examinations: listening (25%); speaking (25%); reading (25%); writing (25%).
