Note: The degrees of Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Economics with Honours, Bachelor of Economics-Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics-Bachelor of Laws with Honours have been replaced by the degrees of Bachelor of Commerce in Economics, Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Economics, Bachelor of Commerce in Economics-Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce in Economics-Bachelor of Laws with Honours. LEVEL 1

Not fewer than 18 nor more than 24 units from level 1 subjects including the following:
(i)  
CO1002:03 Contemporary Accounting Principles and Systems 1
CO1501:03 Introduction to Commercial Law
EC1005:03 Economics for Business 1
(ii)  
BU1010:03 Quantitative Studies
or  
EC1101:03 Statistics for Managers
(iii)  
MG1731:03 Managing Organisations 1

LEVEL 2

Not less than 18 nor more than 30 units from level 2 subjects including the following:
(i)  
CO2611:03 Applied Financial Management
CO2801:03 Business Information Systems Development
(ii)  
at least 6 units from other level 2 Commerce (CO, EC or MG) subjects.

LEVEL 3

Not fewer than 24 units from level 3 subjects including at least 12 units from level 3 Commerce (CO, EC or MG) subjects.

Students who wish to seek accreditation with the professional accounting bodies must include:

CO1003:03 at level 1;

CO2002:03, CO2101:03, CO2502:03 and CO2601:03 at level 2;

CO3012:04, CO3013:04, CO3111:04 and CO3513:04 at level 3.

LEVEL 4

HONOURS IN ACCOUNTING
(i)  
Completion of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Commerce.
(ii)  
CO4901:04 Research Methodology (Honours); and
(iii)  
either  
CO4902:08 Commerce Honours Thesis; and
12 units from:
