Practice for Social Justice: Skills and Ethics

Introduction to the practice skills for working with individuals and groups. Introduction to core values and professional ethics.

Learning Objectives:

  1. a range of helping methods in the context of social welfare practice;
  2. the dynamics of interpersonal communication skills and group processes;
  3. knowledge/understanding of values, principles, standards of practice in relation to professional codes of ethics.

Assessment by values and ethics analysis (40%); video role play and written assessment (60%).
