Prerequisites: Credit level in research-based and practice-based music subject and permission of Head of College
Inadmissable Subject Combination: MU4011 MU4021
Contact hours as negotiated with the Head of College through the supervisor. Full year.
Available, at the discretion of the Head of College, to all students with a Bachelor of Music or equivalent qualification undertaking the Bachelor of Music Honours (Practice) degree.
Staff:
Head, College of Music, Visual Arts and Theatre.
Following consultation with their supervisor, students will be required to undertake practical activities appropriate to their area of study.
Learning Objectives:
- to develop the student’s practical research skills.
Assessment by progress report(s) (10%); major recital/project (40%); minor recital/project (20%); lecture recital of 40 minute duration (30%).
