240 hours practicals. Second semester.
Available to BT students only.
Students will undertake modules in either Acting or Production.
Acting
Students focus their work in two public performances. Each performance will have a guest director who works with students in a rehearsal period lasting several weeks.
Production
Students undertake secondment with a professional company or venue. Length and appropriateness to be negotiated with course coordinator.
Learning Objectives:
- to develop models for learning which mirror professional practice in order that students may prepare either for entry into the profession or for further study in the discipline.
Assessment by:
Acting
Two practical projects (rehearsal process 30%, performance skills 70%).
Production
Written report (3,000 words) (60%); supervisor’s report (40%).
