The Australian Securities and Investments Commission Law, its background and its provisions as to production, investigations, examinations, hearings and the role of lawyers in corporate investigations.
Learning Objectives:
- introduction to the theoretical aspects of corporate investigations;
- development of students practical skills in the context of corporate investigations and disciplinary hearings.
Assessment by final examination (80%); on-course assessment (20%).
