This subject examines the way in which cultural, political and economic forces create spatial patterns at the global level. Topics include the organisation of cities, population dynamics, political organisation of territory and the processes of urbanisation and industrialisation.
Assessment by examination (50%); tutorial attendance (10%); essay 1 (15%); essay 2 (25%).
