Subject Description

    This subject explores the convergence of technology and healthcare, primarily focusing on digital health and health informatics in contemporary healthcare settings. Through a comprehensive examination of health informatics concepts, theories, and standards, students will enhance their leadership and professionalism in the digital healthcare era.

  • Interpret key concepts, theoretical frameworks, and industry standards related to digital health and health informatics
  • Critically analyse multifaceted challenges arising during the implementation of digital health initiatives and design ethical and efficient solutions
  • Reflect upon and assess one's own digital professionalism and leadership qualities within the field of health informatics
