Subject Description

Project work is becoming a significant way to deliver organisational value. Thus, it is becoming more likely that, you will work as part of, if not lead, a project team in a workforce. This module takes into consideration the myriad of project work that students could be participating in, and their differing levels of expertise. It will focus on the principles, and areas of performance required to contribute and lead projects, rather than specific project management processes. Students will gain a broad overview of project performance domains and potential activities undertaken in each. Students will further investigate a single domain (including meeting domain outcomes, how domains are tailored and what models, methods and artifacts best enable the work of individual domains). Finally, students will reflect upon project management principles and skills that underpin project practice.
