Subject Description
- The subject examines patterns and processes of the development of the Australian landscape and its soil mantle and human interactions with these elements of the natural environment.
Learning Outcomes
- to gain an understanding of the development of Australian landscapes at various spatial and temporal scales
- to develop an understanding of geomorphic and soil forming processes
- to develop skills in landform interpretation and analysis
Subject Assessment
- Written > Examination (centrally administered) - (40%) - Individual
- Written > Test/Quiz 1 - (10%) - Individual
- Written > Field report - (20%) - Individual
- Written > Problem task - (30%) - Group & Individual
