Subject Description

    An independent study and/or research devoted to a topic of special interest to the student and/or relevance to the enrolled course. The subject is developed in consultation with a member of staff of the Discipline of Information Technology within the College of Science and Engineering.

Learning Outcomes

  • present written technical reports and/or oral presentation for a specialised audience
  • pursue independent study in a specialised topic with limited supervision
  • demonstrate an advanced understanding at the topic covered and apply concepts and skills to the area of study
  • critically evaluate theoretical concepts in the topic covered

Subject Assessment

  • Oral > Presentation 1 - (30%) - Individual
  • Written > Literature review - (70%) - Individual

Special Assessment Requirements
