Subject Description

    Students are guided through a structured process intended to cultivate an understanding of scientific research methods. This subject compares the ascendency of qualitative research, the emergence of mixed methods approaches, and the continuing use of traditional forms of quantitative designs. It addresses the key elements of the process of research: writing an introduction, stating the purpose of the study, identifying research questions and hypothesis, and advancing methods and procedures for data collection and analysis.
