Subject Description

    This subject requires undertaking a substantial piece of research that involves investigating a topic of interest relevant to the discipline area of study. The research may involve developing a literature review, reporting a small study in the form of a journal article or undertaking and reporting on a research project. A public presentation of the findings is part of the assessment.

Learning Outcomes

  • develop objective research skills to dissect, analyse and appraise a business research topic without bias or favour
  • develop a substantial written research literature review or journal article or research project
  • demonstrate enhanced research communication skills

Subject Assessment

  • Written > Literature review - (50%) - Individual
  • Proposal or Research Project - (50%) - Individual
