Subject Description

    The learning integrated work experience is designed to provide students with professional experience in the workplace aligned with reflective learning. The student will gain valuable hands on industry experience. The subject will provide opportunities for students to clarify career goals, explore and develop skills and knowledge through development of work based and project management experiences.

Learning Outcomes

  • apply knowledge and skills effectively in a practical workplace environment
  • design and implement a workplace project to enhance business practices
  • reflect on their behaviour, knowledge and skills in the workplace to improve their performance

Subject Assessment

  • Written > Project report - (40%) - Individual
  • Written > Reflection/reflective task 1 - (20%) - Individual
  • Performance/Practice/Product > Professional placement performance - (40%) - Individual
