Subject Description

    This subject equips our graduates with the skills necessary to gain employment in hotels, resorts, luxury day spas, restaurants, casinos, and the travel and tourism industry. The subject will clarify career opportunities, employability skills and provide the student with the career tools to gain employment in the industry and be career ready.

Learning Outcomes

  • reflect on their behaviour, knowledge and skills in the workplace to improve their performance

  • Written > Reflection/reflective task 1 - (20%) - Individual
  • Written > Research report - (40%) - Individual
  • Performance/Practice/Product > Portfolio - (40%) - Individual
