Subject Description

    This subject is available to students eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Science (Honours) program and who wish to undertake their honours in a Marine and Environmental Science discipline and on a part time basis.

Learning Outcomes

  • design and conduct independent, original research in aquaculture, marine and terrestrial biology, zoology and/or ecology or environmental science
  • contextualize, report, and interpret research results effectively, orally and in writing

Subject Assessment

As this subject is part of a subject chain, a final standard grade (e.g. P, C) will only be recorded for each subject after successful completion of all parts of the subject chain.

  • Oral > Presentation 1 - (15%) - Individual
  • Written > Thesis/dissertation - (85%) - Individual
