PY6303 - Clinical Psychology Placement C

Subject Description

In this placement subject, students will complete at least 400 hr of practice across one or more practice settings, working in a different context to that experienced in Clinical psychology placement A and Clinical psychology placement B. Students will demonstrate competency across the entire range of clinical and professional skills in the provision of effective, evidence-based assessments and interventions for clients. Students are expected to perform independent clinical practice, with guidance provided when applying clinical practice to new, complex settings. Students will participate in feedback processes to develop ongoing learning plans and self-reflexive practice, and will participate in supervised case consultations.

• demonstrate ownership of ongoing professional learning as evidenced by critical self-reflective practice, engagement with and use of feedback, and the development of personalized learning plans and objectives
