Subject Description
- This subject provides an opportunity for health professionals to design, teach, evaluate and report on a series of learning sessions using the action research framework.
Learning Outcomes
- Differentiate between quantitative and qualitative research
- Recognise the role of research in the professional development of educators
- Design and implement a series of experiential learning sessions
- Apply the action research learning paradigm to a series of learning sessions
- Evaluate and appraise learning sessions using an action learning framework
Subject Assessment
- Oral > Presentation 1 - (35%) - Individual
- Written > Literature review - (40%) - Individual
- Written > Proposal - (25%) - Individual
