Available to all students who have passed FR1001 or have an equivalent knowledge of French.

Subject Description

    General French language appropriate to the objectives below.

Learning Outcomes

  • reach a level of minimum creative proficiency (approximately 1- on the ISLPR scale)
  • write and talk about simple topics such as leisure pursuits and past and future activities
  • read simplified authentic texts

Subject Assessment

  • Written > Test/Quiz 1 - (30%) - Individual
  • Participation > Class participation - (20%) - Individual
  • Written > Reflection/reflective task 1 - (10%) - Individual
  • Oral > Interview - (40%) - Individual
