Subject Description
- Students will earn a certificate as a Barista, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Hygiene (HACCP) and Covid 19 food service certificates. This will prepare students to be work ready in the hospitality and tourism industry.

- develop and apply the knowledge and skills necessary for a career in the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Industry

Special Assessment Requirements
This student is enrolled at JCU while attending certifications at TAFE. This is a pass fail subject so it will not reflect on the students GPA. For quality control and to assist the students with any issues that may arise, the students stays in touch with the Learning Integrated Work Director through blackboard using reflection assignments during their certifications with TAFE.
