SL5001 - Advanced Topic in Speech Pathology 1

Subject Description

Students in this subject will undertake independent study on a topic to be agreed between the student and the Postgraduate Coordinator (Speech Pathology), carried out under the supervision of a Supervisor from within the Discipline of Speech Pathology.

Learning Outcomes

• acquire and demonstrate knowledge in a subject area relevant to the research being undertaken, or proposed to be undertaken by the student at postgraduate level
• demonstrate skill in conducting a literature review relating to the subject area being investigated

Subject Assessment

• Oral > Presentation 1 - (50%) - Individual
• Written > Learning plan - Individual
• Written > Literature review - (50%) - Individual

Special Assessment Requirements

Passing requirements: complete and submit all assessment items; pass every assessment item; achieve a cumulative score of at least 50% after the application of any penalties such as late penalties.
