Subject Description

    This is the first of three research subjects within the Masters of Psychology (Clinical) program. In this subject, students will explore human research integrity issues and research methods. Students will develop, with guidance from their research project supervisor, their Masters thesis research proposal.

Learning Outcomes

  • apply mastery knowledge of research principles, methods, and ethics to plan a substantial piece of research that addresses a complex theoretical or professional practice issue in clinical psychology, mostly independently
  • expertly communicate the proposed research using advanced written, presentation and oral communication skills
  • differentiate human research integrity issues
