Subject Description

    In this placement subject, students will complete at least 300 hr of practice across one or more practice settings, working in a different context to that experienced in Clinical psychology placement A. Students will receive supervision as they demonstrate application of clinical and professional skills to provide effective, ethical, evidence-based assessments and interventions for clients. Students are expected to perform clinical practice with greater autonomy/independence than as demonstrated in placement A, progressing towards attainment of competent independent practice. Students will participate in feedback processes to develop ongoing learning plans and self-reflexive practice, and will participate in supervised case consultations.
