Subject Description

    Electricity and magnetism, optics - see EE4710 description.

Learning Outcomes

  • solve mathematical and numerical problems associated with the theoretical background of Electromagnetic Phenomena, including Maxwells Equations
  • undertake laboratory work by gathering, analysing, and documenting experimental and observational data in the application of Electromagnetic Phenomena to geophysics
  • create a formal report to communicate experimental data, results, and analysis to experimental observations
