Subject Description

    This subject introduces research in the field of creative arts, including theoretical and practice-based approaches, methodologies and ethics, within the context of case studies and projects. Students will design and pursue a research project and that will enable them to develop in-depth insights into an area of interest.

Learning Outcomes

  • categorise and apply research approaches, methodologies and ethics within creative arts practice
  • deconstruct appropriate research approaches, methodologies and ethics within creative arts

Subject Assessment

  • Oral > Presentation 1 - (30%) - Individual
  • Written > Project plan - (30%) - Individual
  • Written > Research report - (40%) - Individual
