This module has been developed specifically for allied health professionals in the following professions; Pharmacy.

Subject Description

    This module focuses on application of participants' clinical knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical management in rural and remote service settings. Participants examine medicines management, review and supply for consumers with complex health issues. Participants also examine medicine supply systems in rural service settings and strategies to address community service needs.

Learning Outcomes

  • apply best practice medicines care to assess and manage the pharmaceutical needs of individual consumers in a rural or remote community
  • analyse pharmacy service management, supply work- based systems and provide advice on strategies for improved outcomes and processes
