Subject Description

    This subject involves practicum experience in a variety of sport and exercise/clinical exercise physiology settings that may include individual exercise prescription, sport association/club activities, sports academies/institutes, community events and research activities.

  • construct, implement and evaluate programs appropriate to sport and exercise science/clinical exercise physiology
  • demonstrate competency in exercise assessment, prescription and delivery

  • Non-Invigilated > Assignments
  • Cover letter, resume, selection criteria, interview & peer evaluation (must pass)
  • Online module quiz (must pass)
  • Logbook of 100 hours of practicum placement (must pass)

Special Assessment Requirements

This subject will be marked as a non-graded pass fail. Satisfactory completion of 100 hours of practicum placement, on course assessment, set practicum placement competency tasks, attendance at tutorials/workshops/seminars.
