SL3106 - Speech Pathology Practice 3 (Honours)

Enrolment in this subject is restricted to all students enrolled n the Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours degree (including students from IHCAP stream who undertake Honours).

Subject Description

    Students will progress with the development of their speech pathology research project commenced in SL3103. This project will lead to the design of a piece of research which will be further developed and finalised in SL4101 and SL4103. This subject will require students to demonstrate the ability to finalise an answerable clinical questions and develop a final research proposal with intended methodology and time line. If appropriate, the project proposal may include an ethics application.

  • demonstrate the ability to integrate well evaluated literature into a project plan
  • demonstrate ability to document a research project effectively, scientifically and professionally

  • Non-Invigilated > Assignments - (60%)
  • Invigilated > Presentations - (30%)
  • Self evaluation (individual) - (10%)
