Subject Description

    Students will identify a speech pathology research topic which they will continue to work on in SL3106, SL4101 and SL4103. This subject will require students to demonstrate the ability to formulate answerable research questions, develop effective search strategies and critically appraise the research literature. Students will learn how to be critical consumers of the research literature and begin to develop their research proposal.

  • demonstrate the ability to formulate a research question or topic related to speech pathology
  • identify and review key literature to support initial research development
  • demonstrate ability to begin to develop a plan for a research project to address the research question they have identified
