PY4115 - Psychology: Now and the Future

Subject Description

    This subject is concerned with the development, current state, and future direction of selected areas in psychology and the present state of research in particular topics. Important milestones in the theoretical and empirical bases for current theory in the selected areas will be reviewed and how these have led to the present models of our understanding of behaviour. Projections for future development, although speculative, will be discussed across a range of psychology topics in student-led seminars. The Jo Wale seminars will consist of a series of seminars presented by visiting academics who have and are actively researching a particular topic.
