Subject Description

The increasing significance of multinational corporations and globalisation has created a need to understand and manage people working within more culturally diverse organisations. Topics include cross-cultural communication and marketing, negotiation and conflict resolution, management of a multi-cultural workforce, the dynamics of multi-cultural teams, the impact of cultural heterogeneity/homogeneity on innovation and creativity, the role of mental models and schemata in intercultural interactions, leadership and motivation across cultures and human resource development across cultures.
