Subject Description

    This subject examines the link between strategic decision making and leadership. It also looks at the principles of change management, how it might be managed and what role effective leadership plays in changing an organisation.

Learning Outcomes

  • critically evaluate leadership theory and organisational behaviour as they relate to contemporary firms
  • apply strategic thinking, strategy formation and strategic change
  • appraise leadership skills relevant to managing strategic change through people processes and performance in organisations

  • Role Play (25%) with Reflective Journal (25%) - (50%)
  • Poster Presentation - (25%)
  • Case Study - (25%)
