Subject Description

    This subject continues building advanced level communicative skills across the four macro- skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, through the study of authentic fictional and non-fictional Japanese prose. Increased emphasis is placed on accuracy and on the range of complexity and flexibility that students display in their language use

Learning Outcomes

  • enhance further students' ability to convey precise and complex meanings in a variety of situations and contexts, both in speech and in writing; increase students proficiency beyond the level achieved in the prerequisite advanced level subject

  • Invigilated > Other exams - (40%)
  • Non-Invigilated > Assignments - (15%)
  • Invigilated > Centrally-administered final exam - (45%)
