Subject Description
- Topics include mathematical simulation methods for complex phenomena, simulation of game environments and AI agent-based simulation techniques.
Learning Outcomes
- knowledge of current simulation methods: complex phenomena simulation, simulation methods in game design, agent-based and other AI techniques
- carry out a project demonstrating at least one of the simulation methods studied in the subject
- analyse the capabilities and limitations of simulation methods in terms of their scope of applicability and computing resource constraints
Subject Assessment
- Invigilated > End of semester exam - (50%)
- Invigilated > Quizzes or tests - (10%)
- Non-Invigilated > Assignments - (40%)
