Subject Description
- Capstone design project based on industrial application of IoT; application areas can be but not limited to: Environmental monitoring; Precision agriculture; Smart cities; Health care
Learning Outcomes
- define a scope, identify resources and tools, assess risks and implement appropriate intervention plans for successful delivery of a project
- demonstrate adherence to professional and ethical responsibilities in project delivery
- identify engineering design techniques on IoT technologies to real world applications
- apply management and leadership skills to develop a solution for a complex design problem
Subject Assessment
- Invigilated > Tutorial attendance and participation - (20%)
- Invigilated > Presentations - (20%)
- Non-Invigilated > Assignments - (40%)
- Contribution assessment - (10%)
- Reflective portfolio - (10%)
