Subject Description

    Capstone design project based on industrial application of IoT; application areas can be but not limited to: Environmental monitoring; Precision agriculture; Smart cities; Health care

Learning Outcomes

  • define a scope, identify resources and tools, assess risks and implement appropriate intervention plans for successful delivery of a project
  • demonstrate adherence to professional and ethical responsibilities in project delivery
  • identify engineering design techniques on IoT technologies to real world applications
  • apply management and leadership skills to develop a solution for a complex design problem

Subject Assessment

  • Invigilated > Tutorial attendance and participation - (20%)
  • Invigilated > Presentations - (20%)
  • Non-Invigilated > Assignments - (40%)
  • Contribution assessment - (10%)
  • Reflective portfolio - (10%)
