Subject Description

    This subject is for students wishing to undertake research in Biomedical Sciences. Available to suitably qualified graduates from any science based disciplines. Please contact the honours coordinator regarding this subject.

Learning Outcomes

  • design and implement a research investigation
  • evaluate the recent relevant literature and critically analyse and review
  • present research findings to a mixed audience

Subject Assessment

As this subject is part of a subject chain, a final standard grade (e.g. P, C) will only be recorded for each subject after successful completion of all parts of the subject chain.

  • Invigilated > Thesis - (60%)
  • Invigilated > Multidraft Essays - (20%)
  • Invigilated > Presentations - (20%)
