Available to graduate students with an interest in advanced epidemiology. A multi-mode learning module, which will enable students to complete it at their own pace and primarily off campus. It is designed to allow veterinarians and related health professionals obtain advanced knowledge in disease modelling techniques, applied economics and risk analysis.
Learning Outcomes
- apply quantitative and qualitative procedures and techniques for making decisions applicable to health professionals involved with populations;
- develop suitable models for disease outbreak and disease control situations;
- develop quanititative and qualitative risk analysis model;
- integrate and apply appropriate economic methods to disease control prevention strategies.
