This subject will enable each candidate in a doctoral research degree at JCU to acquire the transferable skills required to complete the doctorate in a timely manner and fulfil his or her career aspirations as an internationally-competitive research professional. The Advisory Panel will assist the candidate to develop a skills program tailored to his or her individual needs by undertaking a Need's Assessment early in candidature.
