This subject is concerned with advanced methods of data analysis and predictive modelling. The emphasis will be upon refining the design of investigations so as to best leverage data analysis to answer the research question.
Learning Outcomes
- demonstrated knowledge of advanced techniques in predictive and explanatory model building;
- demonstrated ability to use appropriate software to conduct advanced data analysis;
- demonstrated ability to appropriately critique research design.
Prerequisites: | Must complete 72 credit points of level 1, 2, and 3 subjects from an undergraduate Psychology course, and be accepted into the 4th year psychology stream before enrolling in any level 4 PY subjects. |
