This modular subject will equip students with knowledge and skills to support the advancement of their clinical practice and professional careers. This subject will foster professional development relevant to a variety of specialist and emerging practice domains. The learning activities within the subject will enable in-depth critical examination of the complexities of contemporary and future occupational therapy clinical practice. All students will undertake a core module focusing on the development of professional growth, resilience and employability within contemporary and emerging practice contexts. As part of this, students will engage in a process of targeted reflection in relation to their personal and professional strengths as well as areas for further development. This reflective process will be later drawn on in a series of practice area specific elective modules in order to enable students to situate, personalise and enrich their professional development.
