This subject applies primary vector-based computer imaging techniques to 3D modelling. Students will explore 2D, 2.5D and 3D proof-of-concept designs. They will develop strategies and approaches to material processes in the media arts. Students will be introduced to concepts and ideas that contextualize computer-aided creative work within emerging modes of production and fabrication. They will be introduced to material and artefact design processes in ways that focus on contemporary ideas and concepts. The subject culminates in the production of creative work that is folio and prototype ready.
