This module has been developed specifically for allied health professionals in the following professions; Dietetics, Medical Imaging, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Speech Pathology.
This module explores the provision of educational/training activities in the workplace. Participants will be guided to identify, develop, implement and report on a small educational activity.
Learning Outcomes
- Identify principles of learning and teaching related to workplace education and training activities;
- Apply knowledge and skills to the delivery of a work-based educational activity for students and/or staff;
- Reflect critically on the outcomes and implications for own practice and/or the local service context.
Prerequisites: | Participants are responsible for ensuring they are practicing in accordance with the regulatory instruments of their specific allied health profession, within their own personal scope of practice and experience level and in accordance with the policies of their employer. |
