The subject builds a repertoire of strategies that promote critical and creative capabilities to enable learners to critically engage with evidence, and arrive at well-reasoned conclusions and sustainable courses of action. Particular attention will be given to collaborative pedagogical decision making and community engagement in the development of place-based programs in the humanities and social sciences within an ethical framework.
