The primary goal of this subject is to develop, to an introduced level, the specialised pedagogical content knowledge for planning, teaching and assessing required by GSTs in the second of two selected teaching areas at the Grade 7 to 10 level. The subject will focus on the Australian Curriculum and C2C (ACARA, 2017, DET 2015b); and develop understanding of appropriate behaviour support and management practices necessary for creating positive and engaging classroom learning environments.
