Students must have completed 36 BU/BX credit points and be enrolled in their final year of study. This subject is not available to students enrolled externally.
This subject is one of three capstones offered through the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Program for Business. The subject enables final year students enrolled in the College of Business, Law and Governance to work together in groups to investigate and develop a solution for a project sourced from industry. Identification of suitable projects occurs through collaboration between the College and industry partner organisations. Students work in groups of up to six with each group having a mix of majors. Students are advised of their allocated group in the first timetabled workshop. It is a requirement that students attend the 3 hour timetabled workshop each week. Students conduct project work in addition to this contact time and receive support and project direction from academics and industry partner for the project's duration. External students are not eligible to enrol in this subject. More information on the Business WIL options and the application process is available on the College WIL website and on the WIL in BBus Community on LearnJCU. Students should contact tes.enrolments@jcu.edu.au if unsure of their eligibility for WIL. Students at JCUB and JCUS should consult Academic Staff.
